IDR is seeking a Microsoft Copilot Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity remotely supporting EST. This role involves implementing and managing governance for Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Cowork, and Copilot Studio agents within a large organization, ensuring secure and compliant adoption of AI-powered workplace tools. The position offers a chance to work on cutting-edge Microsoft 365 governance initiatives in a professional services environment.
Position Overview for the Microsoft Copilot Engineer:
- Stand up and operationalize agent governance across the tenant for Microsoft 365 Copilot, ensuring secure and compliant adoption.
- Manage agent sharing, exemption controls, inventory, risk baseline, and remediation strategies to mitigate high-exposure risks.
- Configure and maintain control systems, including agent access, publishing, lifecycle governance, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
- Develop documentation, runbooks, and standards to support knowledge transfer and program sustainability.
- Collaborate with Information Security and IT leadership to align controls with firm confidentiality and ethical-wall considerations.
Requirements for the Microsoft Copilot Engineer:
- 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra administration, with recent focus on Copilot and Power Platform governance.
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 Copilot and governing agents within Copilot Studio and Agent Builder.
- Experience with Power Platform admin center, including Managed Environments, DLP policies, and environment strategy.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels and data loss prevention, operationalizing controls at scale.
- Expertise in automation using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph, along with strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
