IDR is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Carlsbad, CA.
This role involves managing demand and supply processes to enhance forecast accuracy, optimize stock levels, and coordinate cross-functional activities to support near-term business needs. The position offers an opportunity to work within a global organization focused on healthcare and consumer products, contributing to efficient supply chain operations.

Position Overview for the Supply Chain Analyst:

  • Manages demand and supply processes to improve forecast reliability and supply planning.
  • Collaborates with internal teams and external supply partners to align on supply plans using sales, inventory, and promotional data.
  • Analyzes sales data to identify exceptions or unforecasted activities and drives prompt corrective actions.
  • Coordinates projects such as new product launches and lifecycle changes across various organizational functions.
  • Utilizes demand and supply planning systems to enable exception-based management and continuous improvements.

Requirements for the Supply Chain Analyst:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field from a four-year college/university.
  • 4+ years of experience in sales and operations planning, demand planning, or related areas.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, Vlookups).
  • Experience within CPG, retail, or beauty environments is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and replenishment models, with experience in statistical systems.
