Position Overview for the Product Designer:
- Conduct user research and create user personas.
- Design user flows and information architecture.
- Create wireframes and interactive prototypes.
- Develop visually appealing and responsive UI designs.
- Ensure accessibility and adherence to design guidelines.
- Conduct usability testing and document user feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and engineers.
- Support product launches and maintain existing product UX.
Required Skills for the Product Designer:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field, with a strong grasp of app and software development cycles and programming tools.
- 3+ years of iOS, Android, and HTML app design experience.
- 1+ year of basic coding and development experience.
- Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools.
- Competence in both technical and graphical aspects of web design.
- Familiarity with Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP).
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Understanding of design system methodologies like Atomic Design.
- Experience with smart home, IoT, thermostats, or similar products.
