IDR is seeking a Creative Operations Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Bolingbrook, IL. This role is ideal for a junior to mid-level creative project coordinator/manager who will focus on keeping marketing and creative projects organized, on track, and efficiently progressing. The company operates within the marketing and creative industry, emphasizing operational support rather than design work.
Position Overview for the Creative Operations Specialist:
- Support end-to-end creative operations including intake, briefing, timelines, resourcing, and delivery tracking.
- Assist with creative intake and briefing by gathering necessary information, reviewing submissions, and highlighting gaps or risks.
- Build, maintain, and update detailed project timelines, status documents, and tracking reports.
- Manage day-to-day project activities, ensuring tasks move through each stage efficiently.
- Coordinate communication across internal teams, external partners, and agencies to ensure smooth workflows.
Requirements for the Creative Operations Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Project Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–4+ years of experience in creative operations, project management, trafficking, or creative services.
- Experience working with creative, design, or marketing teams; retail media experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital creative development across channels such as social, video, onsite, and offsite media.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
